We were tasked with choosing a designer or artist whose designs inspired us and create a brochure highlighting their work. This would be an item that would be provided to guests at an exhibit of the designer or artist’s work.

I choose to highlight the work of eL Seed, an Arabic calligraffiti artist, who strives to beautify forgotten buildings and communities and bring people together with beautiful art. I find his work to be admirable and inspirational not only for the beautiful brush strokes or the awe-inspiring scale but because he really strives to tell the stories of communities that would otherwise go unheard.   

His work teaches me that truly with “great power, comes great responsibility.” – Uncle Ben, Spiderman
