Architecture Exhibit

In this project we selected an architect or an architecture firm and created a graphic translation of one of their buildings to produce a campaign promoting the architect or firm’s exhibit at a museum. I was excited about this project because I have always enjoyed looking at beautiful architecture and taking in the variety of shapes and structures that make up the building. I choose to focus on the firm Mangera Yvars Arcitects. The building I choose to use in my designs is the North Harrow Community Centre because of the beautiful patterning on its glass windows and the angular shapes and curves in the building.

The greatest takeaway from this project was diving into the work and mind of a designer from a seemingly different creative field and seeing how they apply the same elements of design that we, as graphic designers use, but to architecture.
