Mebo
This project was an integrated marketing campaign in collaboration with 5 other designers. We created the idea for a wearable technology health patch called Mebo that would monitor the users vital signs, create an elaborate data report on their health and allow the user to share that information with their healthcare providers. The campaign was two fold. The first part was a partnership with the Canadian government to make Mebo devices available to all Canadian citizens in an effort to streamline the Canadian healthcare system. Second, there were Mebo Health Mobiles leaving from various major cities across Canada to provide basic healthcare services to underprivileged members of our community such as homeless people. At the end of the semester we were required to present our product, brand and campaign idea to a number of faculty and the rest of our peers. Rather than doing the usual presentation with slides we opted for a more creative approached and presented the ideas as a talk show called “Design Lunatech”.
The biggest takeaway from this project was the importance of working with a team and the value of trusting everyone to do their part. The key to success here was to divide and conquer.
